While some may call Marvel Rivals as an imitation of Overwatch, developer NetEase deserves praise for discovering creative ways to appeal to its unabashedly thirsty audience. Enter Lady Loki, a brand-new skin for the current Strategist hero Loki, providing players a comics-accurate depiction of the Norse trickster god(dess).

Not Hela, But Loki

Contrary to earlier predictions and fears, the highly anticipated Lady Loki costume is definitely not a skin for Hela. Instead, it is a full-on visual overhaul of Loki the character, featuring fresh voiceover work. Judging by the reveal trailer, Lady Loki retains the full suite of Loki's core powers: his projectile attack, his trickery skill, and Doppelgänger. The sole difference is her striking new look, designed to captivate an segment of fans eager to spend their in-game currency.
