Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a trip to meet with national troops in the Pokrovsk area on the weekday. The president confirmed that he engaged with soldiers at the military base of the first unit of the state defense force Azov, which is conducting a defensive operation in the Dobropillya sector, an urban center approximately a short distance from the focal point.

Intense Situation in the Area

Geospatial data from a Ukrainian project indicated that opposition armies had advanced deeper into Pokrovsk and nearby locations, though much of it lacked clear dominance by both forces. The situation remains critical, with updates indicating that Russian forces were fortifying positions and enhancing fortifications in some districts.

Invading troops are making progress in the Pokrovsk sector and seem to be functioning with increasing comfort within Pokrovsk itself.

Military experts noted that defense units had recaptured substantial territory of a Russian penetration in the Dobropillya area, on the eastern flank of the Pokrovsk operation.

Kyiv's Aerial Attacks Within Russia

Ukrainian long-range drones attacked an industrial plant approximately over 800 miles inside Russia at the city. City administration announced a detonation at the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant that led to the partial collapse to suffer damage, adding that the cause of the explosion was undetermined. The armed forces leadership stated there was significant destruction to the plant.

National forces confirmed attacking a petroleum facility at Kstovo in Russia's Nizhny Novgorod region east of Moscow. The degree of impact was under evaluation. The Russian regional governor verified an assault by numerous aerial vehicles near Kstovo.

Moscow's Security Policy Changes

National guard personnel will now have to protect fuel facilities against unmanned assaults after the president enacted a decree on Tuesday extending their entanglement in the military campaign. Zelenskyy's Calls for Global Assistance

Zelenskyy urged the US to remain open to providing Ukraine with long-range weapons. The European nation plans to increase defense support to the nation by €3bn next year to about a significant sum, the treasury department in the capital said on the weekday. This comprises, among other things, artillery, unmanned aircraft, armoured vehicles and the substitution of air defense units.

Nordic ammunition manufacturer Nammo has reached a preliminary agreement with a national production company to produce, develop and sell ammunition in the country.
